In 1995 Dr. Allan
Botkin, Psy D. discovered a method for using
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to consistently allow
grieving persons to experience
a reconnection with their deceased loved ones. The profound healing
effects of this experience tend to help
people grieve their losses in a rapid and lasting manner. Dr. Botkin
continues to train other EMDR therapists
in the use of this technique, as well as see clients in his Chicago area
office.
