Messages From Spirit:
Some
Discernment Snapshots

Our loved ones on the other
side want to comfort us. I see
this over and over in the discernments I do, and it continually lightens my
heart. A woman named Carolyn
called me after reading one of my articles. She had a loved one who had passed and she wanted to see if I
could get her in touch with them.
I told her I couldn’t promise but that I would do my best. The morning of our appointment I woke up with a song
in my head. It had an upbeat
melody and the words I heard were, “This is a story of my love and how my
love still grows.” I asked
if this message was for Carolyn and spirit said, “Yes.” When the reading started a very gentle
spirit came and sat next to me. He
was kind and very patient with me.
He said he would stay as long as it took. He showed me a wedding ring
which I took to mean that I was speaking to Carolyn’s husband. She
confirmed that her husband had passed and that it was him whom she was wanting
to reach. I asked the kind man how
he passed and my body began to feel very sick and very tired. I told Carolyn that I felt he passed
from an illness, and that basically his organs and systems shut down one at a
time. She confirmed that was how it had happened. He called out to a daughter and showed me the initial “K.” Carolyn told me her daughter first name
starts with and “K.”
He went on to give Carolyn some reassurance about some recent decisions
she’d made. The foundation
of the message he wanted to convey was that his love for his wife and family
did not end with his physical body; his love for them continues to grow.
Cathy and her daughter Karen
were referred to me by a client.
Before the reading began Cathy told me her daughter Grace had passed
this past summer and they were missing her. They handed me an object that had belonged to Grace and
impressions started immediately. I
saw and felt a woman with long hair.
She felt very spiritual and metaphysical. She told me that she and her other sister (not Karen) did not
agree on religion, and to please reassure her other sister that she was in a
beautiful place. Karen confirmed
that her other sister was very orthodox and concerned for Grace’s
soul. Grace showed me her dog and
said that as she was passing she was concerned about the dog she’d leave
behind, but that she was pleased with who had the dog now. Cathy smiled and told me she had
Grace’s dog. Grace gave
messages of love to her mother, sisters and family. As we were ending the reading, Grace flashed a strong
picture in front of me. I could see Cathy. Her back was turned from me as she was leaning over her
kitchen sink, overwhelmed with grief. Grace told me to tell her mom that she
was with her then and was consoling her the whole time. Cathy may have been alone physically
but Grace was there in spirit reaching out to comfort her mother. Cathy was amazed. This had recently happened and she had
told no one. This part of the message was powerful confirmation for
Cathy that her daughter Grace was alive in Spirit, doing well and was communicating
with us.
Another reading was for a
young woman. She was hesitant to
go to a “reader” of any kind having been raised a strict Christian
and was under the impression that readers worship the devil. I reassured her
that this was certainly not the case, and since her friend had referred her to
me, she made the appointment. I
wondered why she would call a reader and not her minister. I’d get that answer during our
session. In our reading a spirit
came in and I could feel the spirit had passed from stomach Cancer . She confirmed that a male relative had indeed passed from
stomach cancer. He showed me a picture
of himself at a dinner table and I knew that to outsiders he looked very jovial
and easy going, but to the family he had a strong stubborn streak. He leaned into my left ear and said, “I’m
on her Daddy’s side.” Then
he showed me the letter “G,” and I asked her if there was a “G”
initial connected to this man and she said yes. The man’s spirit then gently moved in and whispered in
my left ear again, “That’s my other son, her daddy’s brother.”
I told the young lady, “‘G’
is your uncle, your fathers brother, and the man who passes from stomach cancer
is your paternal grandfather.”
She confirmed I was hearing this spirit correctly. He went on to deliver a personal and meaningful message to her.
At the end of the reading she told me that her paternal grandfather was the
minister of her church and that after his passing her father took over the
church. I found it very interesting
that the same minister who had told her readers were bad came through so
clearly.
When my husband and I first
started dating we were talking one night and I kept seeing pictures in my head
of the two different actors that had played Darrin Stevens in the sitcom Bewitched. It finally occurred to me that a spirit named Darrin
was wanting to come through . I asked my Graham if he knew anyone on the other
side named Darrin, he said yes. I
saw a young man in his late teens or early twenties. I asked Graham if Darrin was young when he died. Graham said he was six when he died,
twelve years earlier. Darrin
wanted my future husband to know he was grateful for what Graham had done for
his family, especially his mom.
Graham then told me that when he served as a pastor Darrin was the first
child whose funeral service he performed.
I see Darrin often. He comes to help me and he comes to help
children who have crossed over communicate with me. I saw Darrin in a session a few weeks ago. This usually
means the person I have in front of me has a connection to a child on the other
side. Mary, my client, asked if I
could get a message from her son. Darrin said her son was there, but I was unable to see him.
Darrin related that he was fine and very happy. I asked for confirmation for Mary and he showed me the
letter “M” I asked
Mary if anyone connected to her son had the initial “M.” She said, “No, except, of course, myself.” I told her spirit knows I know your name
so it would be someone else. She said no.
I checked with Darrin again and he insisted, and showed me the
“M” again. I told her
they were insisting, and that the person with the “M” initial was
connected to her son. I assumed
she may have forgotten about her son’s friends, so I asked did he have a
friend with the initial “M?”
She said no that her son was only a few months old when he died. Then
she remember her ex-husband and the father of her son is named Mark. Darrin then showed me the city of
Houston. I asked Mary is there any reason they would show me Houston connected
to your son or Mark? Yes, Mark
lives in Houston. Even though I
couldn’t see Mary’s son, Darrin could, and was able to give me real
confirmation that he was in contact with him and that he was doing well.
Our loved ones see us often. Their love for us continues to grow, and
many of them want to help us accomplish our goals, realize our dreams and
release our fears.
